Fiona Acheson
Trade Commissioner - Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei
Fiona is based in Kuala Lumpur as Trade Commissioner, overseeing
NZTE's operations and key relationships in Malaysia and Indonesia,
New Zealand's 12th and eighth largest export markets respectively.
She is also responsible for Brunei.
Before taking up her appointment in January 2010, Fiona was NZTE's
International Market Manager for Southeast Asia working with
exporting companies. Prior to that she led NZTE's Communications
team.
Fiona has held a variety of marketing and communications roles in
the private and public sector.
She has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Otago and
a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey
University.
